Platform modules
Three calculators that cover the full damages picture, each built on the same actuarial engine.
Past & future
Present-value calculations with jurisdiction-specific discount rates, CPI indexing, and actuarial mortality tables.
Life care plans
Upload any life care plan and let AI draft every line item for you to review. Calculate the present value of each cost with mortality adjustments.
Actuarial factors
Generate life-contingent present-value multipliers for any combination of age, gender, jurisdiction, and discount rate: the same actuarial factors damages experts work from.
Defensible by transparency
The strongest number in a negotiation is one you can explain. DamageIQ shows its work.
Change one assumption and watch what moves. Nothing is hidden in a black box; the result is only ever a function of the numbers you entered.
Each calculation records the engine version and the data editions it used (Ontario Rule 53.09, mortality StatCan 2022–2024), so a file run today can be reproduced years later.
DamageIQ is a calculator. It produces a transparent computation from your assumptions. It is not an expert opinion, and it never claims to be.
Workflow
No spreadsheets. No manual table lookups. No actuarial expertise required.
Input plaintiff demographics, valuation date, and jurisdiction. Discount rates auto-populate from your jurisdiction, and any value you change is flagged as your override.
The engine applies actuarial mortality tables and established present-value methodology to your inputs. No spreadsheets, no manual table lookups.
Get clean, organized figures you can trace to every input. Certify your assumptions and export a report for mediation, settlement, and early case assessment.
The methodology
DamageIQ's engine was built by the forensic actuarial team at Quantis Valuations and draws on published data: Ontario Rule 53.09 discount rates and StatCan 2022–2024 mortality. The engine is versioned and regression-tested, so the same inputs always produce the same figures, and every result is reproducible from its inputs and data editions.
Security
Your files are firm assets. They're treated like it.
Row-level security scopes every file to your organization. No cross-firm access, enforced at the database, not just the UI.
Files and calculations are hosted in Canada (ca-central-1), with encrypted storage and short-lived signed access to uploaded documents.
Admins manage seats, billing, and usage, but they can't open the contents of colleagues' files. Every export leaves an audit trail.
